Ordering & Payment Options

To purchase items from our store, select the quantity you’d like to order in the quantity text box and then click the Add to Cart button. The item will be added to your shopping cart. When you’ve finished shopping, you can review totals, remove or add items to your selection, and submit your order.

You will see the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of your screen while you shop. You may click on this button at any time to view, modify or delete items from your shopping cart.

We’re pleased to offer you online ordering using the following methods of payments:

  • Major Credit/Debit Cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported platforms
  • Anime and Things Gift Certificates

To complete a purchase, you will be asked to supply your credit card number, expiration date, CVC (security code), billing address, and shipping address. You can help speed up your order by providing complete and accurate delivery and billing addresses.

All payments shall be processed immediately through a third party service. We are not responsible for the retention or safety of your billing information that is collected by the third party service.

You hereby represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any payment method(s) in connection with any purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for reasons including, but not limited to: product or service availability, error(s) in your order, or for any other reason.

We have the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected. If fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected, we have the right to contact law enforcement to report the above actions and to provide your information.

Special Order/Preorder Policies

  • All special orders, preorders and orders for non-stocked items must be prepaid in full (including applicable sales tax) before the order will be placed by Anime and Things
  • No returns or cancellations on special orders, non-stocked items, or preorders will be allowed
  • Refunds will be given only if Anime and Things is unable to get the item(s), ex. the preordered items is cancelled by the manufacturer or distributor
  • Anime and Things cannot guarantee arrival date of any merchandise. Preorders may not arrive at Anime and Things by the release date or street date of an item. Orders may not be cancelled, returned or refunded for late arrivals.
  • Customer is expected to review the printed receipt or invoice at the time of order/payment to ensure item(s) listed are correct.

Collectibles

A special note on figures, Pop! Vinyl, and other collectible items:

While all figures, Pop! Vinyl, and other collectibles are carefully inspected for quality prior to shipment, we cannot guarantee mint condition. Minor dents and dings on the outer box may occur and are considered not a condition for damaged item returns. Any significant damage prior to shipping will be noted on the product description. We are happy to send photos of the exact item for inspection prior to online purchase. In addition, some items may have minor variances in paint color or other markings. Again, these variations do not constitute damaged items.

All figures and collectibles sold through the Anime and Things website are new, never previously owned. However, some items may have been opened to put on display within our store front. These items will be carefully repackaged for shipment. Where possible, we’ll inform you of that status prior to shipping.

Gift Certificates

Anime and Things Gift Certificates (aka Gift Card) may be used as payment for more than one order if the initial order does not exceed the value of the Gift Certificate. The remaining balance on the Gift Certificate can be used for future orders by re-entering your existing number. When you purchase a Gift Certificate online, you will receive an electronic Gift Certificate via email.

Anime and Things Gift Certificates can be redeemed in our physical retail location or at animeandthings.com. Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash, check, or credit. Please treat your Gift Certificate like cash; if your Gift Certificate is lost or stolen, it will not be replaced.

Sales Tax

We are required by law to collect applicable state tax on all purchases using in-store pick up or shipped to Illinois (IL).
